Too much for initial cost imo...I see where you're coming from though with how much we spend on 1/8 buggies.

I really want a 5b, after seeing one in person I really want one.
Sure, $1,000 is alot, but I already have spent $700 on my Truggy in the last 2 months, whats another $300 to have one? Sure, its slower, but its no so slow as to be no fun. I'm going for one, I figure it won't be long till I do an engine swap and some porting/polishing with a tuned pipe. I think they are badass.
