I use the XS3 Pro. I enjoy it. I had the DX2 spectrum(still do) and it just never felt right in my hand like the JR type radios do. The Pro is nice because there are no crystals to buy.
I have my eye on this radio here, but seeing I just got the Pro a few months back and I still have the DX2. Buying a 3rd radio is not wise. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=SPM20300 They also have a 2.0 that is cheaper. $160 range I think. As for starter nitros. Well I started out in MT with the Revo. But seeing your looking at a buggy or truggy. I cant really add any info to that mix. But you will be 'tossing yourself into the fire' one could say buy jumping into those classes. A whole other level there car wise and race wise. |

The DX2 is a JR radio, lol. I believe it's based on the XRi.

http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=SPM2030F That is the type of radio case I have but for the DX2.
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...rodID=SPM20300 This is the new one I found last month. The cases are different. The first is just a DX3 and the second one is a DX 3.0 |
