what to expect from t maxx -
09-22-2006, 01:52 PM
hi guys! been a while since i last posted but i wanted to hear some expert advice on what to expect from a tmax. you see my son got himself a stupid bb gun
which i know would appeal to some, but for me it doesn't and besides it's illegal here in schaumburg. so what i did was i got him a tmax off ebay. i figured that i will have to divert his interest to r/c since he is not paying for his truck. i hear that tmax is a good truck but well i run a savage so i am going to a real stranger to this other toy. any thoughts? |

Personally, I would have gone with a savage. Way stronger out of the box, if a bit harder to work on.

T-maxx's, like stated, are money pits for the most part. They benefit so much from every needed upgrade (if your intended on bashing the truck pretty good). All those upgrades cost $$. For a great T-maxx, you might as well build one from the ground up, screw kit and all.
Otherwise if you take it easy, keep it clean, and just have fun with it....it's great in stock trim!!
