Kyosho like I've got can be good, but just about anything these days is competetive. Mabye pick up a turmoil, used without radio since you've already got one. |

Unless your me, you'll be replacing stuff just from it wearing out rather than breaking.

I estimate that I missed out on $200 to $300 by NOT parting out my supermaxx... but the frustration and cost of shipping things to a bunch of different people, and having stuff left over, etc, makes up for that difference. you need to ask yourself,
if you are going to race or bash... Buggies are not really made for bashing, yes they can do it somewhat. But they are made and geared for the track. They are not made to go to the construction pit and jump around. Remember they have a low ground clearance, and grass really slows them down and overeat the engine quickly. So before you make any decisions make sure you want to make the switch to racing mostly. If not save up cash and buy a used buggy cheap and work your way up. This way you keep your revo for bashing and have a cheap buggy to see if you like scale or not. Why drop a ton of money on a scale and your not sure if you will like it... Just some things to think about. |
