MX_Kevin and I both got .18 for our revos, only problem his was running 250.. and mine at 210 was running better and out performing his no matter how he tuned it. So as a last resort he switched from trinity to the odonell with out changing tuning he dropped 40 degs and runs awsome now.I didnt think changing gas would make a differance but it did. Traxxas fuel is also very good as Ive seen mitch and rich's results with it.

Am I the only one who doesn't like o'donells? I can't get any of my motors to idle with that stuff (the .26 in the savage and the .21 in the gs). For some reason, even though it makes your motor internals turn greenish/blue, I've had the best luck with blue thunder.

I ran Top Fuel at first in my 2.5R but switched to Byron's %25 after seeing all the build up inside the engine during a tear down. %18 lubrication is just way too much it gums up the engine.
I now run Byron's %30 in my 2.5R, OS .18TM & TZ With much better performance and no buildup. |
