M11 Setups - 07-31-2006, 11:31 PM

Anyone tweak out there settings on there m11. For example their exp or dual rate?

Only thing I really do is set the dual rate to 150.. looking for other stuff that might help.

exp, epa. servo speed, traction control, and the timers are the ones I use frequently.

The settings very

EPA are your end poiint adjustments control how far the servo travels
EXP is the movement of the servo
traction control I only used indoors.

What works for me in my radio will probably not work for you. It varies on driving style, servos, engine, and other factors.

The best bet is to mess around with the radio. The manual is good just have to read it over a few times. I would start with the simple stuff to get figured out and go from there.

-40 to -60 is what I normally use on the throttle
-30 to -40 on the steering.

George, you use traction control ??? Notice any differences ? Thats probally one of the things I never played with.

Rich I used it indoor when the track was slick, Honestly I never tried it outdoors. It really helped comming out of a turn with the 528 in the truggy. It kinda makes the servo stutter for a milli sec to control wheel spin and spin outs. I should try it outdoors especially when the track is loose but I just havent raced enough outdoors this year. Its definitely worth playing around with.

And yes my exp is around -60 and -30 also

Thanks dude. I've been meaning to play with the ABS for some time. Just keep forgetting about it. Might try messing around with this weekend.

I think you were asking if the MX3 has steering exponential adjustment. I don't know, but I do know that steering EXPO is not the same as steering EPA. Expo is used to "calm down" the response of the function around neutral. It makes the steering less twitchy when driving straight, and makes throttle application smoother, less abrupt.
