Backplate Options.... -

Apparently, Traxxas has put on hold the making of non pull start backplates, they're getting rid of the 2.5 on the back because 3.3 owners are getting mad

why not just run the pull start backplate for a while until you get the non-pull, that little bit of a weight difference cant be that bad. Can it?

No, it's just that if I could get one now, I could cut the crankshaft now while it's all apart. If I can't get one, then I have to wait until I do get one, take apart the motor, cut the crank, and then put it back together. It's a huge pain in the rear.
