Leisure is holding the 3rd annual chitown shootout. march 4,5,6 even though i dont own a electric i was think on going and watching the mod class on sunday. Bernie told me last year they had 200 entries! Im curious to see some of these trucks/buggys in action. Im kinda interested a xxx-4. Anyone else planning on going?

I'm in for watching too, I don't have an electric so I can't race. I'm actualy trying to talk my friend into it since he's got an RC10. But it looks like it'll be a good time.

'lectrics are fun! But after 16 years of charging batteries, I've gone nitro. I'll never look back. While I've never raced nitro anything, I have made a dent in racing electric. Very competitive and fun, especially 4wd modified and stock 2wd classes. Anyway, this is a year old thread, and the race is long since gone. All R/C racing is great though, especially for the kid in all of us. Later - DaveB
