Here's a video of the Xmods I bought. They were only $20 at Radio Shack so I thought they would be cheap and fun to mess with.

Just messing around with them....the video has audio so turn on your speakers.

Nice...where did you find them for $20? I thought they were $60? I could use a beter (newer) one if they are going that cheap.

The sale is probably over. I think it ended on the 15th.

But if you keep an eye out every now and then Radio Shack does a $20 rebate on the Xmods. Some cars are $40 and some are $50 so with the rebate it's a really good deal.

The price difference doesn't matter....both cars are the same. I think the cost is just do to the official licensing. Some brand licensing costs more then others.

The sale was nationwide. You could even download the rebate form from the RS site when it was going on.

I have found that different locations price things differently for whatever reason. The day I bought my two Xmods I went to two locations and noticed some products had different pricing.

Sorry...and sorry I missed the sale, but it was on Evo models only, and I don't want to mix and match the two style, but may have to...even still, at $40 a new Xmod is a fair price for what you get. Our GenI car was $50 two years ago, I think.

Anthony, I wish I had seen your post at BigSquid sooner.

When I went to the RS near me the guy said he had older Gen1 cars he would outright sell for the same price. But I didn't want it :P
