nova parts - 04-16-2006, 08:43 PM

hey has any one used nova shock towers or seen them? they look quite like the ue ones and they are made of 7075-t6. im watchin some auctions since ue's bst forum is out for now, and my ue auction ends in 40 min, but the buy it now for nova will be about the same price and with hardware new. what ya think? btw this is for a t-maxx

Nova towers are not good on t-maxxs they are too short and don't give you the mounting options UE does (due to the fact they are too short you can only use the top mounting holes, and it still doesn't make the truck bottom out, shocks bottom out before the chassis)

Stick with the UE, or Dace is another great option.

sweet I won the racerx towers. Im currently waiting for a reply on the forum or fom the sales dept on UE's site to find out what comes in the 10102HDW RacerX KnuckleHead Hardware Package. theres no pic so im not sure. I would like the factory stand offs, harware and body post supports. If it takes too long I have subsitutes for the stand offs and an idea for the post supports but for $5 if the kits has it all then it would be easier to go that route.

btw I also have a dace engine mount waiting in my closet. I had 1 more stock mount and Im waiting for it to break before I toss in that beast! Yes the basher is comming together!

hehehe I was watchin them all night at work. I almost missed it! when I got home a had a few beverages and time flew by on me! lol Im so not going the SM route. I so dont have the cash for all that craziness!
