RD Logics Mongoose G4

[PoPRC]

Does anybody know anything about this car and the company. Is it a good car? Does anybody own one? Do you like it, dislike it? How is parts availability? I like the price I've found and the car looks good! From what I have read elsewhere its a really good ride.I found this car on ebay as a kit for $179.99.
Thoughts anyone?

RDLogics is hit or miss. Some of their stuff is really good but most is taiwanese junk. Nothing against taiwan it's just mass produced, low quality stuff.

Yes I know revos are mass produced by children also, I never said they were good quality either.

At least Revos were designed in the USA, some of the profits go to people in our country

True, they do have US based corporate offices, like HPI. But even HPI admits that they look to hire project managers with "Experience with Chinese and/or Taiwanese suppliers". Labor rates are killing manufacturing in the US. But's that's a subject for another thread....

For price I would pick up a NTC3 if you are looking for a really good budget race/basher.

That car is OK but good luck on getting parts if you break it.

I have decided to stick with my RS4 and upgrade it as I go. I think I will run this RS4 as a club racer for this season then pick something different up for next season. Maybe a NTC3, or a kyosho FW-05R.
