My buddy is looking at getting into 1/8th scale, he is trying to decide between a

Ofna 9.5
kyosho
mugen

Which one should he get? I told him the kyosho or mugen! He is looking at a little bit of racing with some bashing thrown in.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Squirrel, tell him to buy kyosho. You saw the beating I gave mine yesterday and all I broke was a $5 part..

I hate to break it to you but pretty much all 1/8th scales take that beatin. My storm did and only ever sheared off screw in the wing mount, and Tommy's ofna did yesterday. That is they way they are designed. Actually Tommy's landed even harder than yours did from what I hear and didn't break a thing.

In the end if you want a basher go with ofna. If you want a racer go with the jammin, kyosho or mugen...

Revo my buggy is alot stronger than yours! Not opinion but fact. My buggy was built for bashin, not racing! He is going to go with the mayhem(thanks kit for helping him out)

yeah i'm squirrel's friend, i'm gonna get a mayhem rtr. they look really good and leisure hours has parts to help me out if i break it. (huge thanks to kit for talking to me at the track, thanks again dude)

hey guys whats up i am tommys brother. I got the rustler yesterday and totally trashed it within five minutes of being able to drive it what a wonderful start to off road rcing.
