Now after doing a quick search on eBay I see that I bought a small receiver pack, for about twice the price as I could have bought one off of eBay for. I will be ordering a new Ofna receiver pack shortly, more then twice the capacity of the one I have and $10.00 cheaper then what I already paid.
Look like I will only be hitting the local hobby shop for gas from now on. |

A 600 Mah pack will not last a very long time, especially with the Hitec 645MG servo. The higher torque servos will drain more juice from a battery pack. Your best bet, is to run for a little while with that pack, but keep an eye out for a good 1100 or 1200 Mah pack. This is the MINIMUM you should run, with 3 servos, one of which is a high torque. HPI has a good 1200 Mah pack.

I've got a 1200mA hump pack. I always charge it before I run the truck, and have never run into problems. 600mA is way too small.
Head over to AL's hobby shop and ask them for a hump pack for a savage. That's what I did, since I didn't know what to get at the time. They didn't steer me wrong. It's like $25. "If you cook scallops in a non-stick pan, then they won't stick. That's why they call it NON F@#*$&%G STICK!!!" - Im watching YOU!- roc |

The heck with those 1100mah and 1400mah here is what you want! I have a 2700mah on my Maxx and I can run all day!

Why don't you like the 2700mah? Is it because of where it mounts? If so here is one that mounts right where stock battery box is and they don't weigh all that much more then a standard hump pack (1.5-2.0 oz more). I have had this battery for over a year and have never ended the day because of a low battery and I run a Airtronics 94358Z ERG-VB Hi-Torque 200 oz for steering a JR standard servo for the throttle and a Cirus high torque mg servo for the break. It last longer then I do.
