Pullstart Question - 01-04-2006, 09:42 AM

I broke my PS on my cv-rx and finally bought a new yesterday. My LHS can't get them without the OWB. I am wondering if I should use my old OWB with the new PS or save the old one and use the new one?

Thanks

Me, if I had a pullstart off, and had the new parts, I'd install them. Just so I don't have to take it apart again later. The old, working OWB can become the spare in the toolbox.

But that's just what I would do.

Alright thanks.

Should I put a little WD-40 on the OWB before I put it in?

Don't use WD-40. The new one way should be pre-lubed. If anything, use either Marval Mystery oil or get a bottle of one-way lube. It only needs a drop or two.

At my LHS it was like $37.57 or something like that. I know new motors are 99.00. I was like geeze.

And Rob, I don't know if this is the pull start w/out the OWB or just like the outer case. It says "body".

EDIT: I guess it comes with everything, but the OWB. I was reading the page and it says it comes with the cord so I guess that means it's everything.

Is this a recoil for the 2.5 engine? I'm just asking because I think they go for like $15 on eBay.
