For motors, I'd get this one;

I used red, one step softer, but they wore out too fast lol...Losi Ribs up front. I'm not that knowledgeable in electric though....If someone has a better motor for the $$ feel free to correct me... |

I have decided to try the stock motor only class at r/c performance and hobby. Maybe I'll just rent one of their XXX-t's for a few rounds around the track. I'll post up some pictures and maybe a video of the track after I go. It's a really nice setup. Ill try to bring the buggy with in it's current condition I guess.
But if I do decide to race I'd like to get in to the stock motor only class. Because of my slow reaction time.lol |

If your runing stock get a monster use the springs that come with it run reedy 767 brushes or trinity 4499 or f brushes f brushes last a long time and thay give u good power for 19t run the trinity C2 run the springs that come with and the f brushe u can get this stuff on line at www.dcmotorsports.net what run time do u have on your packs ? u dont want to doop u can get some good 6 cell packs from www.teamhurricane.net thay have some 3700 lefted
