LST and Mayhem ST Tires - 12-08-2005, 09:21 AM

I have a set of the Losi LST2 Tires but I have been told that these are too big to use
on my Mayhem.

Now I went from a 13t to a 12t will this be enough to help with this.

Thing is I have yet to glue them to rims and I do not want to if this combo is no good for me.
I also do not want to loose some of the spped my ST has over this.

Any thoughts

I haven't seen these tires but I'd assume they are WAY bigger than the stock mayhem tires?

Why do you want such big tires? going down one tooth on the bell may not be enough and 12T is the lowest they go. The only thing that will happen is you will fry your clutch.

On the speed of the truck, you will gain top speed but you will lose the low end punch.

I personally would stick with the size of tires it came with (which are maxx size) you have SOOO many options with a maxx size tire.

Yeah I did not realize they were that big when I bought them at first.
I figured after the fact if the LST and Mayem ST are basicallt the same type of MT
these would be okay.

Can you return them for credit? Didn't you say that you planned on racing that ST? It's a very good race truck that will be great when the new extended chassis comes out next year.

I just ordered the 17mm half offset Ofna CRT wheels and Boas for my Mayhem cuz I'm using the buggy axles/hexes. You might want to check out NitroRcChopShop on ebay. Great deals on LSP, Revo, and Mayhem parts.

It does turn on a dime, literally. I drove Kevins and was amazed. I think it can turn around a pop can and hug it

yes it would, I think it would still turn awesome an inch longer also. I would trade in some turning for more stability in that rig anyday

I am returning them on Saturday.

I still have all the packaging and figured I would go with bow ties for tires
