Good Hobby Shops in Chicago - 11-18-2005, 02:12 PM

Hi Guys, I'm now here in the cold windy city (temp was 17 Deg when I got in). What are some good hobby shops for cars, trucks and aircraft to go to here?

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Hit up Al's if you want to stay close to the city, or over in Joliet you will find www.leisurehours.com I personally think that is the best shop in chicagoland.

Alright. Went to Al's. Not bad. Huge layout of stuff. Do they ever race in the parking lot out back?

I have to back up n_s_r though. Venture in Wheeling (or maybe its buffalo grove, can't remember) is pretty good too. They used to run venture raceways, but I dont think thats around anymore.
