We need to also take into consideration the amount of damage to the pipe. What if I run half of a pipe over with a car? that would take alot longer to fix than one simple little dent.

Example: you crash your car and total the front end, I dent my bumper on my car, you think the repair shop is going to charge the same amount to fix it?

well If you want me to charge by the hour it would be cheaper to buy a new pipe. I charge $200 a hour to fix door dings. how does $25 to $35 depending on damage sound.

Sorry slippin on my duties...

The man said 25 to 35 bucks.... That sounds like a good jumping off point. As long as the damage isnt overly sevre or isnt damaged around the stinger...

In sevre cases sometimes service prices may be higher...

Anyone: We're on the topic of pipes... Can you see from the picture below; the rear of the pipe sticks out from the car. I wish it sat a little bit more towards the rear also. Is there a header that would alow me to do the above? I've seen the headers that have a short straight section. Are they better for this annoying issue? The header melts all of my bodies.

sounds like you need to put the stock mayhem manifold back on. it has that straight section you speak of

The reason it sticks out though is because the larger smooth radius bend flows much better than the harder angle tighter radius bended headers. I'd just trim the body a bit to clear the header.

there are all kinds of other headers out there that will work fine with that JP. basically just about any off road "in line" header will work. but I could not tell ya which ones are tighter to the engine.

The JP series is designed with that smooth flow header in mind.... but Im sure you could use a header from a ofna 086... It requires less clearence.

That RB header is perfect. If it's like what I've seen in pictures, it holds the pipe closer to the engine, and alows it to sit farther back. I just ordered one from NitroHouse. thanks
