I have a feeling that almost everyone here will agree.... Revo.
Click Here! BCE Jammin' CRT - Picco .28, JP 3 Hard Anno, Spek, Air 359 ST, JR Z590 T/B, Titanium turnbuckes, King Headz everything. "I think the biggest difference is that racers like to work on their car all weekend to make it go "fast" for 5 minutes, and bashers like to work on it for 5 minutes to make it go all weekend." - jellis71 I spend more time behind the camera than the controller. Allright. Done. Revo it is. I think I just needed one to say it. I like the fact that if I break a part on it at a bash or the track and I don't have an extra there WILL be someone around with one that I could buy. And I hate traxxas... times are a changing...
Anyone want to buy a brand new 2.5 r??? |

Like Tex said, better tires. ($100)
Then snyth radio if you're going racing so you're not "waiting for Blue". ($150 used) Then P2 rockers, push rods, & springs for better handling. ($40) Then stronger single steering servo ($120) and linkages ($40) Add a wing in there somewhere along the way. ($40) New body ($35 - painted add another $30-60) Misc spare parts ($ ????) Should be about $1000 by the time you're done with your $425 Revo. Dontcha just LOVE this hobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I know the truth... remember... I have an 1/8 scale. I know it won't be cheap but I will do it gradually.
And Tex I may take the wheels & tires. Any pics? Please send them to Free-Ride-Junkie@comcast.net if you do. Thanks. |
