Reasons? Ground clearance and suspension travel. Trucks just make better bashers. Buggies are better for racing on a prepared track.

There were several buggies at the last bash...But if I had to guess, besides ground clearance, I'd say cost would be another factor. Alot of buggies are purpose built for racing and people would prefer to keep them on the track.

just wondering becasue im getting back into nitro, and i used to go to the BMX track all of the time with my last buggy. and as always, there were trucks everywhere, ....and my buggy. i just had always liked the look of a buggy better. maybe if i sell my XXX 4 in the for sale area, i can get both.

Truck: Lots of ground clearance, more suspension travel, and fun to run stuff over.

Buggy: Fast. (I'm going to miss the speed) Handles well, more durable than trucks IMO, but less travel. I also think they are easier to control in the air then jumping... smaller tires means they are less twitchy.
