no body clips!!!! ???? - 10-19-2005, 04:19 PM

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to mount an 1/18th scale hpi mustang body on my xray m18 without body clips

cool thanks do you just use small pieces on the body post or build it up somehow?

If your chassis is a "tub" with sides between the wheels, you can use long strips along that area.

Otherwise, you could look at making a "pad" or cross bar to fit on top of cut down body posts. Put velcro on the pad top and inside the body. I would think this way would be tougher to get a good adjustment for proper fit.
