REVO CF Stuffs; Where to buy and what? -
10-18-2005, 04:44 PM
For starters, I'm looking to get rid of the battery/receiver box, and throttle box. FOC already installed. Thanks alot.
I found these so far, but they seem a little pricey. |

This is a little cheaper to eliminate the throttle servo box. For 10 bucks you can beat it.
http://teknorc.com/ And the wing mount set is pretty good too or you can use mbx5's ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I wish I had the money to get this stuff... I just got back in from doing some high-speed runs, and my truck gets all loud. Turns out I broke the manifold, right were it starts the small tubing, after where it bolts onto the truck.

And that tekno stuff looks real good too. I just weighed my truck, and it ended up as 7.5lbs. Can't be right though, because all I've done to reduce weight is switch to rpm clawz and slicks, foc, and cut down throttle servo box. Or is it correct?

7.5lbs with no rims and tires would be more like it! That can't be correct.
Also Mich, alot of people are going back to the stock chassis for racing revos. There are pros/cons to both from what I hear. I've been going back and fourth with Jim(KY) about it. That's why I haven't made the switch yet. I want more race time with the stock chassis before I jump to the extended. Then I can get an acurate view of the pros/cons myself. Your Greevo is hooked up though and it seems to work real well for you. You were also fast with the stock chassis so..... I like the tekno RC stuff, nice and cheap. If you guys have seen my throttle servo mount (maxx bulk braces) that only cost me $10 total. |
