Revo is done! -

Well after about 30-35 hrs of modding and building the Revo is finally done.
I had to mod so much stuff it isn't even funny. I had to move the tranny forward, the motor mount backwards, make up throttle servo mounts, make up linkages from scratch, fabricate pipe mounts since it's a side pipe configuration, cut the front center drive shorter, etc...etc....etc.... Basically anything that went on the chassis needed to be modded. It was a headache but in the end well worth all the hard work and late hours involved. Here's what it's running. -stock modded chassis to accept BB power with 1/8 scale clutch -crimefighters on dishes with modded trinity 3 stage foam -p2 rockers -orange front, gold rear springs, 40wt oil, half preload on back shocks -throttle servo mounts made out of t-maxx bulkhead braces -custom linkage throughout -mugen air filter -nova.rc AL 3-shoe clutch -16T CB/ 36T spur -Novarossi P5, eb modded -RD Racing starter box -Air 359 steering/ Futaba 9451 Thr/br -30Kf/10Kr diffs -Xciter body -mbx5 wing mount and wing -RD racing steering link -proline steering arm -TRX heavy duty saver spring OMG I ran this thing (it started right up and ran perfect) and WOW I've never grossly overpowered anything before just for the fun of it. This is definitely the fastest rc I've ever owned as far as brute power is concerned. Trying to keep the front end down is an understatement. I think I have 15mph rolling wheelies! insane! I need an extended chassis worse than ever now. Those Crimes hook everywhere awesomely! I can't wait until the races next weekend! Tex sounds good, when I first starting making truggies 2 years ago it was fun taking something and getting it to work.
One question, withhaving to mod so much, what about spare parts, did you have to mod something that can break relatively easy or should I say a common break point on the revo. Just wondering if you'll have spares to continue racing. I cant wait to see it next SUnday!!!!
