Batteries on Nitro trucks - 09-25-2005, 03:35 PM

I was wondering what kind of battery packs( like 4 cells) do you nitro guys use to power your radio equipment??
Im doing a project at school that basically making an RC car to do tasks. the car can only use 9.6 volts total so i found an esc that can run on 4 cells. so now i have 4 more cells that i can use to do the tasks with.
Thanks

I use a 5-cell pack as well but you could easily pick up 4 rechargeable cells and make your own. It will easily last longer than 4 AA's.

It will not power them as well as a 5-cell would, and not as long either, but it should. How long does this think need to work before it dies?? And I know there is a volt limit but is there a capacity limit?? Get larger cells to run longer...
