who runs it and how is it? i recently switched to byrons but im getting sick of driving to al's to pick it up and to get tq fuel delivered to my door its cheaper than the byrons is. so how is it?

tq fuel - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 12-06-2007

well i heard they changed it, it was god awful when it first came out supposed to be better I dont know for sure. Saxton and Easton run it and I know Eastons shit was flying this weekend so maybe

tq fuel - cheesecake - 12-06-2007

thats good to hear. its between that and maxys because i can get it delivered to my door for just over 100. the only other way would be to go to the hobby shop and buy 4 gallons at a time to make it worth my while.

i dunno i like werks, i think its the best stuff out there. If i didnt run that I'd run byrons

tq fuel - blktransam - 12-06-2007

werks is on sale on a-main for a case....I love byrons but have been itching to try werks as Mike said Easton was f-ing fast but maybe he runs a special blend? I dont know

tq fuel - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 12-06-2007

most places really dont do special blends anymore atleast to my knowledge. I know OD used to be real big on it, pros running 33% 35% etc just weird formulas, but those motors were usually odonnell modified as well and the fuel was just another way for them to tune towards their driving style.

I really like werks fuel, only thing i can say is its a bitch to get, prolly cost a little more too unless like A main has it on sale. it runs about 30* cooler than OD and about 15-20 cooler than byrons from the testing I have done with tons of oil left in the motor at the end of the day

I jsut got sponsored by TQ but havent had a chance to run it yet. I will be trying it out prolly tuesday...mabey saturday if i can get the car done in time. Supposed to be alot like werks in the run time and power areas.

tq fuel - cheesecake - 12-06-2007

well let me know. im really thinking about it.

tq fuel - chickenfarmer3 - 12-06-2007

no problem, if you want to meet me at the track soon you can run a few tanks and see whatcha think.

tq fuel - cheesecake - 12-06-2007

Bruce, shoot me the sizes of the stickers you wanted, printing them in a few days and i accidently deleted that message.

tq fuel - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 12-06-2007

bruce are you on smack?

tq fuel - blktransam - 12-06-2007

I never knew werks ran cooler then byrons! wow I must try it now lol

tq fuel - Traxxas_Junkee - 12-06-2007

Yeah. When I switched I had to lean my HSN out like a full turn plus another 3/4. Almost a minute longer on a tank, cooler, more power.

tq fuel - cheesecake - 12-07-2007

skol vodka i was right

tq fuel - J-Dub - 12-07-2007

Is more than 30% really needed? I would think that would be really hard on engines...

tq fuel - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 12-07-2007

it isnt really that hard, main thing is it gona make it harder to tunebut they will manage

tq fuel - blktransam - 12-07-2007

I think i am going to order a case of werks....

tq fuel - J-Dub - 12-07-2007

I know more nitro = more power. but I guess at some point you'll be sacrificing some run-time since you have to run it richer.
