Need help finding on my scooter. we blew a fuse and have no clue where it goes. I'll take some pics in a minute and mabye somebody can point me to what it is on the scooter.

It is a 2006 Honda Elite 80

Starter Solenoid.... - Racin' Ranger1 - 05-08-2007

you get a new scooter? cuz the one in your garage is not a 06

Starter Solenoid.... - Ponch - 05-08-2007

Parents say it's an 06, and on Hondas website it's an 06 dude..haha.

Pictures. TraxxasJunkee said the solenoid is basically on the starter. Did I happen to picture either of them here?

And you wonder why it won't start.

Look at the fuel line, just a little gummed up huh? You guys need to put stabil in that thing if it's going to sit for that long.

Can't see the starter. Kinda hard to see what's going on in the pics though.

Starter Solenoid.... - motoxer4life - 05-08-2007

nvm

Starter Solenoid.... - Racin' Ranger1 - 05-08-2007

i thought you had that longer than a year.

Starter Solenoid.... - Ponch - 05-08-2007

Hold on...Going to the store real quick.

Edit..Arrg..They didn't have a spark plug that fit. Gotta go to willy world tomorrow.

Starter Solenoid.... - rocco79 - 05-08-2007

you ride a scooter?

Starter Solenoid.... - Meatwad - 05-08-2007

i know nothing, but those fuel lines look gummed up. and the starter solienoid should be on the starter.

Starter Solenoid.... - Racin' Ranger1 - 05-08-2007

ya hes part of the VOA vespa owners of america, lol jfwy

Starter Solenoid.... - mikeh - 05-08-2007

Is that the fuel line or is it an oil line on a two stroke?

Starter Solenoid.... - Mnster - 05-09-2007

Fuel line looks fine to me. Remember most two stocks use a oil fuel mixture.

I can't Identify the starter anywhere. Try taking a picture that we can see the whole bike in as so we can have a general idea of the location.

Starter Solenoid.... - bubbaracing - 05-09-2007

Haha, Vespa, that's funny, i'd pay a dollar to see Ponch on one! :bustingup

Anyway I don't see it anywhere in those pics, have them show the breakdown picture at willyworld and you'll see it then i'm sure!

Starter Solenoid.... - Ponch - 05-09-2007

Yeah we're going to willyworld right after school to get a new plug and find where the hell that thing is, sorry for the not helpful pics, that's about all I could see without taking the whole body off.

Starter Solenoid.... - rocco79 - 05-09-2007

will you please post a pic of you on the scooter...

Starter Solenoid.... - Ponch - 05-09-2007

It's in peices right now...

Starter Solenoid.... - MX_KEVIN - 05-09-2007

Now im confused...If your looking for fuses there usually in a small box by iether the battery or air cleaner. Look up your bike(or sissy scooter) on parts fish to get a better idea where the location is.

80 cc?..thats considered of motorcycle here...anything bigger then 50cc is a motorcycle..

Starter Solenoid.... - Racin' Ranger1 - 05-09-2007

its considered a motorcycle here also. 50cc's is the max you can have without having a lisence.

Starter Solenoid.... - blktransam - 05-09-2007

w/o license?...u have to have a moped license on anything under 50cc

Starter Solenoid.... - Mnster - 05-09-2007

No license for anything under 50cc. Pretty much just hop on and hit the road.

Ride anything on a public road with a motor, that isn't licensed, or street-legal, and you are asking for a ticket, even if you are not a licensed driver.

Ride a motorcycle or motor-driven cycle without a proper MC classification on your drivers license, you are asking for a ticket when you get caught.

Right unless you can register it as a moped in which case you do not need a mc license. The bike must be under 50cc’s and not go over 30mph, not have more than 2 brake HP. You still need to insure it and make sure it is street legal.

Ok now what if you have a bike that is 49cc, goes about 37 mph, and has more than 2 bhp?

Starter Solenoid.... - 4wheelinrevo - 05-09-2007

so if i get a baja 5B i have to have a license for it since it has more then 2HP and faster then 30mph????

i figured i would join in the fun tooSmileSmile
