Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

Yeah and now I'm out of gas....:p:

Sad

I'm sending the radio back in...And werks is getting a nice letter recommending they re-work the seal on the gallons.

Warning... - AddictedtoNITRO - 03-16-2007

dude that freakin gas ate the hell outta that sh!t. damn that sucks I would be so p!ssed off!! I feel for ya man. dude I can't even imagine how mad I would be lol

Warning... - AddictedtoNITRO - 03-16-2007

how is the case with the spare's?

Warning... - UE-Maxx - 03-16-2007

I am pretty sure there is a little piece that is like a seal that comes untached from the cap, but should be kept on when it is closed. Did you happen to not have that on?

Warning... - Czech-it-Out Graphics - 03-16-2007

man howd that happen

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

The case with the spares is mainly screws and allen keys etc, so all that stuff made it out fine. The only stuff that got messed up is what I pictured.

When I opened it up for the first time, there was just a cap and a clear saran wrap like seal on the gallon that you had to punch through to get gas out.

And Mike, the gallon is still closed???

Warning... - Obsessive R/C - 03-16-2007

I'm sure Werks will also tell you to keep the gallon upright Wink

Warning... - rocco79 - 03-16-2007

Who lays a gallon of fuel on its side!??!!?

Ponch you are right... I have had them tip and leak but Come on bro dont store it like that.

Im very sorry about your control. Sucks man. I wish i still had my m8. Id let ya use it till you got somthin else.

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

I know it should be upright...But that is the only way it would fit in my box and has never leaked a drop before with byrons, so I thought it would be ok. I had a hectic week at school so I just got to unpacking from last sunday now to find this.

Warning... - rocco79 - 03-16-2007

sucks kid...

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

Yep. Powerpanel is kinda screwed up too, I hope it works still.

I just peeled the handle right off the heat gun, afraid to plug it in right now and get a :flamer:

Warning... - Traxxas_Junkee - 03-16-2007

Wow, that sucks.......

Welcome to my world, the dumbest luck on Earth! lol.

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

It's in their thread on the grid. I'll call them tomorrow, or email or something.

Warning... - rocco79 - 03-16-2007

I really dont think its a manufacturer problem

Warning... - Obsessive R/C - 03-16-2007

Let it all air out and the fuel should completely evaporate...won't help your plastic but the heat gun may still work.

Warning... - DAVEC-NITRO-RS4 - 03-16-2007

ouch...I feel for ya.

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

LoL...How am I going to hold onto it???

Warning... - rocco79 - 03-16-2007

jedi powers

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

I'll get right on that.....

Warning... - Meatwad - 03-16-2007

how does the controller feel ? does it work?

Warning... - Ponch - 03-16-2007

Feels buttery soft...

The battery tray slid out the front of the plastic, and the bottom part won't open back up. Then the battery tray itself, the batteries or something killed the coils in there and a few of them cracked in peices so I can't really do anything.

Warning... - kevinF - 03-16-2007

holy fuck dude, thats crazy.

I put my in sideways to but, right when you get home you should take it out and put it up on a shelf or w/e......how long would that take??? like 30 extra seconds??? those 30 seconds are worth saving that shit
