New Spektrum Pro Series - Obsessive R/C - 03-15-2006

I recieved this E-Mail this morning:

Spektrum Pro Series Systems—Faster and More Durable

It wasn’t easy to improve on the Spektrum DSM module system. After all, the original systems have helped guys win races the world over. And everyone using Spektrum has benefited from the no-pins, no-crystals, no-interference, no-glitches reliability of its 2.4GHz system. But our engineers pulled it off simply because it’s in their nature to improve and refine—to think outside the box to produce a better product. And this time the payoff is the Pro Series Module System.
Features:

New programming lowers latency to 3.0ms (Tx and Rx combined)
Receiver board is conformal coated to protect it from dirt and fuel
New smoke gray case is fuel proof
Telemetry compatible

Hmm... I was reading on their site before the announcement you just posted about their System for the Futaba 3PK HRS system. They state they got the latency down to 2ms for the Futaba HRS.

You guys need to read the very long thread on the S-Grid about this topic. It's by far the most informative.
