Good Package Deals are like 650, 700. That one guy wants it just sling him the price.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - BAMF90 - 06-19-2007

I would probably let it go for around $750. Still negotiable though.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - Tex - 06-19-2007

I had a nice raced out revo and I sold it as a roller with the starter box and 3 sets of tires for $300......Enough spares to build another revo as well...

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - J-Dub - 06-19-2007

You're expecting to get out of it what you put into it. definatly the wrong idea in RC.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - BAMF90 - 06-19-2007

I put way more money into this truck then I am asking for it. I am asking a little bit less then half of what I payed. I didn't say the price was firm. You said $700 is a good deal, so how is $750 too much?

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - FreeRideFrosty - 06-19-2007

I am trying to be an impartial bystander..... $700 is too much for that Revo IMO. It still has a stock radio..... (which is probably wrecking havoc on the upgraded servos). The BB conversion is nice but really will not add THAT much to a truck. There was a Revo on here (probably still is) that had a lot of Ti upgrades, super clean (like yours), came with a box and everything needed to run minus a radio for $450 and even that didn't get much interest. On a truck like the Revo, at this point hop-ups add a bit, but not a ton. It is a clean truck, and you will probably get less than the cost of a new one for it. Sad but most likely true. :-\

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - J-Dub - 06-19-2007

5-600 plus box at most. You never get what you put in out of it. Its hard to realize you're never gonna get back what you put in.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - BAMF90 - 06-19-2007

Then I might as well keep it.

I asked for offers and I didn't get any.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - Tex - 06-19-2007

keep it and save up for a new RC if that's what you want...work extra hard to get cash...
I wish I would have kept my Revo...

sad but true... good song. oh ya nice revo too but a little expensive.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - J-Dub - 06-20-2007

I opted to just keep my REVO because I love it so much. Snag a Spektrum Radio. And save up to buy a truggy buggy w.e. Thats what I did.

Spektrum? PFFTT!

Futaba Fasst!!! I've been looking at it for a while. Might have to buy it when I get some money.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - J-Dub - 06-21-2007

I got a dx 2 with reciever for 45 bucks in good condition. so I think thats better to ME than some fancy radio. Smile

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - BAMF90 - 06-21-2007

If I could get one for that price I probably would too, but I would buy a new Futaba over a new Spektrum any day.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - Racin' Ranger1 - 06-23-2007

just wondering what all did you need to put that BB in the revo?

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - qwk01ta - 06-24-2007

i'lll give ya 475 cash for everything today sunday. let me know if you want to get rid of it. ...cash in hand

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - BAMF90 - 06-24-2007

I used the Qoncepts Big Block Kit, Savage 3 Shoe Clutch, Savage Clutch Nut, Savage 18T Clutch Bell, and a Traxxas 36T Spur Gear.

Excuse me while I try to stop laughing.:bustingup:bustingup:bustingup:bustingup: You obviously do not know how much money and work was put into this truck. Good luck trying to find a Revo this nice for that price.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - Ponch - 06-24-2007

If you want money part it out dude...Roller, motor, electronics, spares...It'll bring in more than you think and it's not hard to do.

Ponch Wrote:If you want money part it out dude...Roller, motor, electronics, spares...It'll bring in more than you think and it's not hard to do.

That's what I was thinking to do. If I decide to get rid of it for sure, then I will definitely part it out.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - Casketman - 06-24-2007

Ok,first. Your still running the 2.5 chassis. Not to many people run that anymore.

Second, there are other items that although yes,you spent alot. You cant expect to get full price for them. I dont think anyone sells anything on here expecting to get full price UNLESS it is still new in the package.

And third, the MT class is hurting. Hardly anyone runs that class race wise. Bash wise,no one is going to want to spend a insane amount of money just for that stuff to break.

IMO,your asking way to much and your unwillingness to drop what you expect is hurting you. Parting it out might bring you more money overall rather then selling it as a whole. But if your going to do that the same way your doing this. Your not going to sell anything.

I sold my Revo for $330,and I had way more stuff then you. Tex sold his for $300. Now I will admit, those are low numbers. I am sure he will agree,on Ebay,we could have gotten $400-500 easy. But thats pushing it these days. You need to suck it up,accept the fact your going to get less then what you put in and just move on. And the same goes for any class. Drop $1200 in to a truggy, and most everyone knows your only going to get $500-$700 tops for it. Your always going to lose money. And honestly,if you cant deal with that fact. Then you need to drop this hobby and pick up stamp or baseball card collecting.

And this comment right here just shows how unwilling you are to work with someone. And how self centered you are when it comes to this. I mean, how much money and WORK has been put into the truck. What, you expect to get paid extra because you stayed up late a few nights working or cleaning it? Rolleyes

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - chickenfarmer3 - 06-24-2007

mmm...this hurts but i am gonna have to agree with casketman on this. Smile

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - J-Dub - 06-24-2007

Dude. Just close the F*ckin thread. You're not gonna sell this because you don't f*ckin understand you won't get even HALF of what you payed for all of this. THIS IS RC nothing holds value just like if you buy A REAL CAR. Nobody will pay more than half and most of the time you won't even get THAT much. Pretty much same as what Casketman Said. I seriously you can't believe you just f*ckin laughed at some guy willing to give you almost 500 dollars in cash.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - BAMF90 - 06-24-2007

I know I'm not going to get as near as much as I put into the truck. But it sucks putting so much into a truck and then getting only 1/3 of what you spent. I would much rather part this thing out, which is what I am probably going to do.

Nicest Revo Ever(Testing the water) - Casketman - 06-24-2007

But parting out might not give you what your looking for either. You have to understand that once you open that package. You lose money. And once you use it,doesnt matter if its once or 10 times. You lose money. It doesnt matter how clean it is or how well taken care of. Its been used. And the longer it is used, the less it is worth. Simple as that.

But you also have to look at the market too. MT's are low in demand, and what happens when items are low in demand. The price drops. You have to be willing to give if you truly want to sell that item. If you expect to get full price. Then you need to lay off the crack pipe because not many items in this hobby resell for the orignal full price. Even when they are still new in the package.
