I just say that it's only once every other week, and tell her she is welcome to come if she would like. Plus with only one race left, it's not a big deal.

My wife is Okay with it. I have all my R/c stuff sprawled accross the bar counter and she does not complain. That is cool. My son loves it. We play and have fun. Kids on the block are enthralled. They play with my son. Whats not to like? It is not as expensive as gambling, season tickets to anything, golf, etc....
She does not want her own however.

Just found this poll. I'll add my 2 cents.

I was into RC way before the wife. She knows there's no getting me away from it. But despite all it costs, and how much time it takes, she supports me 100%. I think she likes it because it gets me out of the house and out of her hair. The only thing she complains about is that my RCs take up a whole second bedroom, and its a sty in there. Thats the problem with city living, not much space. I need to buy a house so I can move all this stuff into a garage. Or rent a space like on King of Queens and hang out at the rental unit!
