How much have you invested? - 11-01-2004, 12:05 PM

Subject is pretty much self explanitory.

The recent heli purchase and put me over the 2k mark.

In May, I had nothing. Now, 6 months later, I have a truck, 2 on-roads and a heli. Lots of money on mods and parts along the way to.

My Blog <-- Could this be the new Chitown R/C color scheme? You decide!

Hmmm....
$200 total on the Rustler and upgrades...
$250 for the Maxx, about $200-$300 on various upgrades....
$400 for the Savage, only about $100 on upgrades....
$370 for the LST, only $30 in parts so far

FUN FACTOR ------ PRICELESS!

(sorry, it was starting to sound like the MasterCard commercials)

Not to mention Bodies, batteries, chargers, ignitors, fuel, etc....
So I'd say upwards of $1800. (minimum)

No need to get into detail but over the past 2 1/2 years I've spent about 5K on everything I've had or have.

Hard to put an exact number though since I buy, sell, and trade soo often but I've had the landmax and the Maxx is some shape or form for years and I know I've put well over 3K into those two alone.

4-sets of various tires/ wheels totaled $180.
2-airboats $400 for both
3-mt rush evo's 18 $300.each
2-rs4 evo's $325. each
8- gallons of fuel varous grades $220. total at one time every 2 months

this is only this year 2005

last year it was

1-kanai 3 $600.

2 savages $425. each
2- truckzilla kits $350.00

I agree with one of the former posters, I've bought, sold and traded so much I don't even remember all the cars/trucks that I've owned.

My T-Maxx is my baby though, one day I'll have to figure out how much I've spent on it so far.<
