Long ago Stormer Hobbies had the shells for $1.99 and I bought about 10 of them and practiced on them. We are down to the last 2 and the son wanted to paint, so he got to practice on this one. Cheaper than using 1:10 or truck bodies. I think Stormer still sells them for $3 now. Still cheap. I sold some of them (painted) on eBay.

does anyone know where i can find unpainted discontinued r/c bodies. i'm mostly looking for the Parma VW Beatle RSI body 190mm if anyone can help me finding that or any other unpainted VW Beatle body that would be great. thanks!

190mm is preferred, but others that are 200mm range are ok, too.

i think bubbaracing has a bug body not sure what size but i thing he did have one.

Dave I have the vw body from bubba racing, not sure what scale it is.
Its 121/2 inch long. if you want it ill give it to you when you pick up the other bodies
