Well, at one point they freak out about a world government.

Lets consider history first. As transportation grows quicker and easier we have more dialoge with other nations. It stands to reason that when transport between continents is as cheap and fast as walking out of your house and to the neighboors then we'll eventually merge into one world government. I'm not stating its a good or bad thing. But its something that will happen if we don't blow ourselves up first.

I don't think it will happen in my lifetime, but I do see it happening.
