GOT IT!!! Called the Target literally 2 minutes away from my house today..

"got any nintendo wiis?''
"(background voice)we got any wii's?---yeah"

We had that same conversation at just about every target and walmart around here last xmas, we got lucky when my cousin, who works at target, told us when they would be getting them in. So we got 3 and sold the other 2 for $450.

oh and its fun for the first few weeks, but its definitely not worth waiting in line at 5 am for 3 days for, and it snowed the last time.

Nintendo - LAN Adapter for Nintendo Wii - DUS0204

do I just plug that into any usb port on my computer? Then I take the 6 foot extention and plug it into the wii, right???

Sounds like it, i only used the internet once tho and we have wireless, so dont take my word for it.

I looked at it more, and it comes with this 6 ft ethernet cable that hooks into my router and into the back of the lan adapter...just turn everything off (computer and wii) and hook it up, turn everything back on and walla it's working...

At least that's how it seems.
So tomorrow I'm prolly gonna make a trip to bolingbrook bestbuy and pick up the lan adapter.

If only it were that easy. Nothing ever seems to go right with the internet and video gaming. For me at least. lol. Finally got my Live working after a few days of dicking around with it.
