When your talking 11's, there is no way that DR's are going to get it 9 tenths and 4mph faster in the 1/4

Every car Ive seen put on DR's or slicks, gain better ET's, but always loose MPH if anything, not gain some.

If thats really a Z06's time slip, its got something hidden somewhere.

Save the watch the Shit is getting DEEP!!!! Yes a Z06 is fast, but not that fast! I could believe a Low 13 or high 12 but not a 10!!! Also why does it say a 3.122 second reaction time? Thats slow as hell!(ok I'm A little drunk so I might be reading it wrong!)

Im sure being in Maryland helped... Concidering they are at sea level or only a tiny bit above. But that could be jesus' sig on there and i still wouldnt believe it...

that guy Ranger posts on LS1 Tech all the time. He takes that car to the track constantly. There are vids of him running 11.0x's at 127 on 85 deg days on LS1Tech. So I believe these times especially since the DA (Density Altitude) is -850ft on that run. So he has the benefit of low altitude and probably a cool day. Actually lemme check..

Yep.. Here is all the info.

Bone stock C6 ZO6's run 11's on a bad day no problem they have over 500hp and weigh a lot less than a normal C6.

3.122 R/T because he was not bracket racing.. he was trying to get the best time. It doesnt' matter when you leave because it won't change your 1/4 mile time. When I go to the track I want the best times so I don't try and leave to get the best R/T at all either unless I'm racing a friend in the other lane.

Told ya the Z06 is a badass car. That time is awesome.

Just have him post the video of it, not the timeslip. Maybe he remapped the computer? Hard to tell from here. And by "stock" does he mean just no internal engine mods? Maybe he's got custom exhaust or ????? who knows what?

it's probably had the ecu reprogrammed nowadays you can do a lot to the performance with just reworking the comp ie. upping the fuel air etc. thefor it's still stock just worked over a bit lol

lol.. well you guys and say what you want. Ranger is Hardcore about keeping the car stock and getting the car to run as fast as he can in the 1/4 mile. He's not some stupid kid or street racer. He posts every time he goes to the track with analysis of Every run. Keeps logs of everything. Its taken him 50+ runs to get the launch perfect and have perfect weather for a fast run. There are a whole bunch of C6 Z06's on the Corvette forum running low.. low 11's with 125mph+ trap speeds and any car than can Trap over 125mph in the 1/4 mile is capable of cracking 10's. Its all about what the car does through the 60' and 330' mark.
