Hey guys i have a question about my iPod video. I bought it about 4 months ago with the 3 year extended warranty. The backlight has been having some problems. The center of it is somewhat dim and the outsides are really damn bright. It also freezes everyonce in a while and the center button sometimes gets stuck. I don't abuse it or anything but its not working like it should. If i send it in will i get a new one from them or will they fix the broken parts on my old one and send it back to me? Thanks.

See if you can exchange it for a new one where you bought it. Mine was about 3 months old (still in perfect cond. though) and since I had the receipt they let me return it for a full refund.

If you send it in, they'll probably send you back a refurbished one. That's how they do the battery replacements on them too. You don't get your original ipod back.

If i get a refurbished one back, will it look new on the outside or will it be all scratched up like most black ipods look like?

Probably ok condition...I would just try to return it.
