Hi, this is Astro's wife and I just talked to him about this thread.

The HPI RS4 MT roller he is trying to give you is from us. Hubby shipped it out and was told once shipped and we had a s/h total to call him and he would send out a MO for $100 and the s/h. The same night after we packaged the roller and left the post office he emailed about a sick kid and and rent due and *insert any sad country western song here*......then tried to say it wasn't what he was led to believe....then I'll send $ soon....then nothing. Hubby even offered a compromise of a lower amount since he said it wasn't what he was expecting. promises promises.

I have is real name and address and home phone number sitting right in front of me. Anyone who would like to have it, please im Astro and we will give it to you. I will not post it here.

Should someone end up with the HPI RS4 MT roller we'd love it back. Otherwise, I am checking into calling the police and filing a stolen property report since he is within driving distance of us. We have our reciept from the post office showing delivery. Our only problem is hubby believes he trashed the im's.

I hope I don't get Astro in trouble for the rantings of his irritated wife, but we have our own country western song life and we can't really afford losing out on things. The condition of his hobby is no household money can go into it because there's none left at the end of the day. So he survives on trades and such. This is hubby's only little bit of release and although I am not interested and involved as much as he would like, ok, at all, I know how much he enjoys this hobby and it saddens me to know there are people like this.

I would ship to you without payment.....there are exceptions.
I would assume that any deals I do with people on this board, that they would not hesitate to ship to me before payment is received. There is certain people to trust.

exactly, thats what i meant tex, i would deff. ship to most any of you guys first, but that is only if i know you from the track, not just from seeing a name on here a few times. guess you live and learn and trust me i have been screwed my share of times. just hate to see people get f'ed just trying to have fun.

Gas is alot more than shipping costs though. Your in the south suburbs, it's hard for a guy in the north or west suburbs to spend $15 in gas to go meet you. Not to mention the time it takes up and meeting people from the internet is not always a secure feeling.

It's funny, as a seller we feel obligated to ship before we get paid??? Hell no! Where else in the businees world can you call up someone and get them to ship goods "on faith"?

I'm sorry guys, but anyone...ANYONE...who ships to an unknown person before getting payment, is just asking for trouble.

Look at Ebay...it only works because you pay first, then if the goods don't arrive, or are not as described, eBay makes it right.

I agree. I thought I would be nice guy. And as we all know, nice guys finish last. Lesson learned learned here. If I get my stuff back or money, great, if not, like I said lesson learned.

I actually made the deal with this guy on another forum. and he has the intestinal fortitude to say well if you don't ship it out I will cancel the money order, thats great man because I now believe there was no money order or no intention to send one. it now says former member next to his name by the way, either he quit the forum to lose the heat he was getting, or he got banned like here. hopefully we have all learned a lesson here, and we some how get our stuff back, it would be nice to see this guy go down
