Not sure how many of you have noticed it, but the gallery is here I've been talking about is here. I'm still doing some testing and making changes to the settings and stumble across one that I'd like everyone's opinion on.

There is an automatic watermark option. I would give me the ability to do something like this. Put www.chitownrc.com on the lower right corner of every uploaded picture automatically.

What does everyone think about it? I do not object when it comes to linking those pictures on other forums and whatnot. And with that said, I'd like to use it, because iit would be easy free advertising for this website .

Use it. Like you said, its free advertising when images are linked, could only be a good thing in my opinion.

That's what I was thinking. Here's an example for those who might not know what watermarking is. It's not permanent as I'm still fooling around with colors and such.

I say go for it.. its a good idea especially if you are going to allow remote linking of the pics.

I would make it semi-transparent instead of solid colors, but that me.

I like the idea and it can only help. I would just make the lettering stand out a little more.
