Mike, other than the lack of proper ventilation and those damned hoops that don't stay in the dirt, the indoor track is great! With a captive audience it's pretty easy to make a good buck in this area come winter time. That's not the issue.
To become profitable and to remain commercially viable the track needs to draw a bigger crowd than the little club tracks in the summer time. On road summer racing alone will not save this place either. This is business. You guys can hate on me all you want but I speak the truth. Why? Because, believe it or not, I actually want this place to succeed. If I didn't care I'd say nothing and just put up with things until the place went under like others and then say, "Remember Leisure Hours?". I'm pissed because I believed Bernie when he said that this place would be "the best in the midwest" and I feel like I've been lied to.

What do you want? Mcdonalds has endless money, thats how they can afford to tear down a store and rebuild it inside of 6 months. They can afford to spend millions and millions at the snap of a finger. Do you honestly think a lone hobby shop can compete with that kind of spending power? I don't think so. its ok newguy I dont need you to defend me from this internet bully. I made the choice of posting it after giving into peer pressure by a fellow member so i stand behind it and will continue to laugh at it everytime i see it. Because god damn its just to damn funny. If he only knew about everything else this would look like nothing.
