MGT Vs. Revo - 07-15-2006, 08:23 PM
All stock Revo or MGT with picco .26 and .21 aluminum hubs, bowties, aftermarket pipe. My question is what to get?

Revo is 250

MGT is 270

The worst dirtbiker is always one step ahead of even the best quad rider....
Racing from a roll is like beating off, it may be fun but its not the real thing.

It all depends. Do you want a truck more suited to racing, or one more suited to Bashing? They are both good bashers, but the MGT will take a little more work to get it race worthy. Both have good support, so in the end, it all rides on what are you going to use the truck for?

I hate to say it but if your racing go revo... Bashing/racing ... Go mgt...


BTW.. i was never a fan of the picco .26... JMO

I've actually had good luck w/ my Picco .26, but I still have to agree with the others as far as selection based on what your primary use is going to be.

LOL!!!

Jerry not that it was THAT bad but it ate pullstarts like a Jenny Craig chick who just fell off the wagon and it loved to run for 4 mins and then die and not restart... And 1/4 throttle and full where the same! No modulation...
I gave it to a buddy to run for a season and it really turned itself around... The connecting rod bushing failed around 1 1/2 gallons but didnt wreck anything else. After that it actully was quite reliable... 240 -260 temps... Powerful. Still has a ton of pinch too...

Still sour on the throttle modulation though...

ehem matt gosch kicked everyones ass in production truggy last year with his MGT, even all those super fast revos...go MGT u wont be dissapointed...plus its technically a TTR so i like it even more hahah

Rocco u spaz, Matt ran the last two rounds of proseries with the MGT he TQed over cramer by like 10 seconds at dirt country so pay attention lol
