ok well my mom just told me that the neighbors are complaining that i run my revo DURING the day no earlier than 12:00 and no later than 9:00......so now i cant even ride in my front yard let alone the back yard.....no i gfot to go back in the feild. WTF why dont they come up to me and ask me to shut it off???

and no my neighors kids are all my age or a little younger. there is one baby a couple doors down but the little girl loves to see it run....when ever she hears it she runs to the window to watch it.....her parents havent complained but other neighbors have.

anyways does anyone else have neighbors like this?

i think there was a post like this before, but i had the cops called on me because i beat a guys blazer racing down the street.

Just forget about what they said and run it, let them come and talk to you. My neighbors SUCK! You can ask Traxxas Junkee and Destroy my revo 15- If I or anyone else even comes close to their yard, we get a "I tried telling you nice, over and over, but now I just going to yell-GET THAT DAM THING OFF MY LAWN!!!!" They think that the nitro fumes are killing the grass while it's really their dog doing #1 and #2 in their lawn if you get what I'm saying...

They really don't care about what time though, they're usally up early and to bed late, they party and drink alot...

Most places have some kind of noise laws, but unless your running a loud ass rubbed pipe or something, the nitros do not break the law. If you keep it on your own propery and run at reasonable times of the day, then your in the right. Try being the upstanding one ad go talk to them. Explain that you dont cause trouble, blast loud music, litter their lawn with trash, play stupid pranks, etc. You just have a hobby that you would like to enjoy. See if there is a time that would bee less intrusive the them. If all that fails, then they are just jerks and don't worry about it.

This is the mentality that pi$$es off your neighbors. Show some level of maturity and approach them, talk to them and come to a mutual arrangement where everyone is satisfied. If they have asked you to stay off their lawn... stay off.
If you show them respect (most likely) they will be more accomidating to you running your R/C.

ORC, I've tried that. It's been that way since day 1. I've tried talking to him directly, talking to his son, and nothing works. I just stay off now.... Occasionaly I'll land badly and tumble into their lawn. That's when I get beeched at.

He could, but that is like the "small side of his lot/grass so he would be in the other neighbors yard. If he jumps the other way, he'll somewhat stay in his yard.

K2-Jump

My house has the jumps in front of it. The neighbor that I have a problem with is the house with the lawn that my buggy clears (it's mine and theirs butted together).

That day I avoided the problem by;

Driving when they weren't home and
Clearing their lawn! They never said anything about the driveway!
Muahahaaaa....

Oil trails from the exhaust on the concrete will make them madder.

Naa.. I'm never idleing long enough unless it's right in front of me to leave a trail. Plus the side exhaust compared to the revo's down one helps.

When I had the exhaust on my supermaxx pointed down, there were lines on my neighbors driveway like a month after I ran my truck on it lol.
