Does anyone here use it.

I hate giving at&T $65 a month just to have the phone in my home, my wife and I rarely use it, as everyone calls us on our cell phones. Last month we used are home phone for 68 minutes. Thats almost $1 a minute.

So I just signed up on Vonage, going to try it, just wondering if anyone here has it and what they think about it, even though I should of asked before I signed up, but they have a 30 day trial period. Keeping my old number and its going to cost $16.97 for 500 nationwide minutes a month with free incomming.

So hopefully it works ....

If you never really use you home phone, then it can't hurt to try! Let us know how it works out for ya.

I haven't had a home phone in 4 years....lol ....cell is all you need. Unless for some odd reason you don't get good cell reception at home.

It said it was set up to give my address to 911. Something that st charles has E911 and it is compatible with the vonage. I had to sign it up....

I have it.. not bad but you have to understand that ALL the phone jacks in your house will no longer work. You will plug a phone into a Phone/router box. Not really a big deal with the cordless phones everyone has. the features are great though.. you can look at everything online.. retrieve VM online, look at when where to whom every call was places, pay the bill, change sstteings and other wried stuff that I've not even looked into yet. So far for the past couple months its been good.

i have it and i hate it. Takes away crucial internet speed for online gaming. Slows the internet down some. Its a great product but for what I do on the computer this service just completly destroy's it all.

I have it, works great but if your internet goes out so does your phone service.
