ok well i had my birthday party/graduation party on saturday and it turns out that someone stole 200 in money, checks, and gift cards.....

what kinda low life would do this??

it just doesnt make sense to me that one of my friends or neighbors would do this. its pretty sad that someone steal from a birthday party.

anyways some of you may not care but just felt like sharing to let of some esteem.

life lesson, when giving someone a gift with money write a check, and if your hosting the party hide the gifts were no one willl find it.

I just hope LH will void the stolen gift card and give me a new one for little or no extra cost......I called and talked to them today and they said that they keep a copy of the gift certifacite for one day and then throw them out. what the hells the point of making a copy then?

im not bashing LH I love that store and know a few guys in there that im kool with. so hopefully scott will work it out with me.

yeah it may be but i dont know exactly who it is......im pretty sure but I have no evidence that it was the person i think it is.

That's the thing though- you get the cops w/ you, go around to everybodys house, if you show up with the cops w/ you, they'll most likely be nervous, crack, and confess.

I dont know.....its a good idea, but i think im going to forget about it since its only $50 cash and $50 in gift card to LH which they will never use......so basically im only down $100

then if LH is reasonable then im only down $50 and then its no point in involving the cops

no way.......theres no way i misplaced 4-5 cards and 2-3 of them my mom put their so theres no way we both misplaced that many.

next b-day install a metal dector by the front door and pat every one down! lol..... excause me sir is that siera mist....

OK, at least the check can be cancelled, as long as you know who it was from.

yeah the check im not worried about......it was from my grandma.

then my aunt gave me $30 in cash.......then i got $20 from my friend in cash.

then i got a gift certifacite to LH for $50, I talked to scott and he siad he doesnt think there is anything he can do about it, but said he will look into it and see what he can do.

im guessing the person that did it just threw away the gift certificate.....but I dont know.

were pretty sure who did it but cant go over and accuse them and start problems.......theyre crazy people and would never admit to stealing the cards if they did.

beat everyone that was thier till u get an answer... that should work

You can do what school teachers are required to do when something of there's gets taken; They CAN'T go around and be like "Did you take it!!?!?!??!" But what you can do is ask people if they saw somebody acting suspicious or actually doing it...Try that.
