Bears Draft Rant -

Let me start by saying... last time I checked, the bears "D" was ranked second best in the NFL and the "O" ranked 29th (almost last). So naturally I figued they'd address their need's on offense in this year draft and off-season aquisitions(free agents).
IMO, we need a stud TE and the draft is loaded with them. With the #26(pick #26, 1st rd) we have our pick of the litter. Lewis, Klopfenstein, Pope, Fasano, Scheffler, Thomas, Byrd, and Daniels, Anyone of these guys I would be happy with. When it came time to make our pick,we traded it, our 26th pick to Buffalo for their 2 and 3 round pick. Okay... So we get a few more picks and a quality TE in the second round,(still plenty left at pick #42) might be a good move. WRONG!!!! We end up picking a DB pick#42 and a CB/WR/PR/KR #57 in the second round. in the third we chose a DT#73 and a OLB #120 in the fourth.  The draft is not over and theres still a chance they pick a TE in the later rounds , just not one that was ranked in the top 5. Im not a scout or pretending to be one, just a frustated fan. I know we drafted primarily for offense last year(The Ced Benson pick last year still doesn't sit well with me, I won't even get into that),so we're going defense this year, but come on Jerry Angelo, who u crapping!!! We need playmakers!!! Anyway, They just picked up a DE (Mark Anderson), another DE. Nuff said. I could go on and on about my BEARS, but this Bulls game is comming down to the wire. He doesn't really have a set positon but, he's fast as hell. You know what they say about speed...

The bears will take their normal postion as Packer nut carriers this year... Last years was a fluke and from their draft choices they seem eager to show that!!! BTW...
The are few things I DESPISE more than the packers (Al Quidea, gas prices are a couple i hate more) so to say that pains me but the bears have turned me into the randy quaid character from the move Major League 2!!!! --Then follow the rules! haha!-- -Tune

Rocco you are going to hell ofr those remarks. I agree 100% with maxx. I have always been a bears fan but cannot be anything but dissappointed with some of their recent decisions...

Back on subject here, as long as the McCaskey Family owns the Bears we can expect bonehead moves such as these. I'm sure Papa Bear is rolling over in his grave, again.
