All he needs to do is see hondo beating the $H!T out of his motor at the track and he won't get one. Do anything to keep him from buying one. He is much better off picking up a quality used RC off of someone on here...

the reason i bought the thing was cause of the stress tech thing and i understand why they have tha thing i used it soo much i spent more time fixing it than driving it. glad i bought the revo. BUY A REVO DUDE!

In the newest rc/x they do a review of the war head... They pretty much say it sucks... They put the engine on the dyno and it shows it has little top end.... They say it was hard to tune

The truck was a pile and the motor wouldn't run right. Someone told him it was hammer proof so he put it to the test... at the track... motor one the floor + Hondo + hammer = 1 interesting spectacle.

well hes my age and doesnt have a job like me so I dont want him to waste his money.

Give this post a day or two and then let him read it. I doubt there would be one good thing said about the truck unless someone figured how to make it blow itself up...

well i pretty much have had good luck jumping the revo just dont land on the roof, the motor mount will be toast/possibly the chassis bent yes ive had it happen. but the savage is a pretty hard basher if you leave it pretty much stock.

Depends on the budget man... it is endless... (Hell get a truggy that you wouldn't mind abusing)
