First of all, we tried dunking it in salt water, nothing but a little rust. Next, is freezing salt water, once again, nothing.

And belive it or not, it still turns over.

Any suggestions as to what I should do next?!?!?!

run it and purposely lean it all the way, although in todays weather, it shouldn't overheat.

Of course it will turn over but will it run... Heck I have an oxy-acetaline torch in the garage that can turn it into a puddle...

i might try to put it in a truck l8er on, but not for a while. Im trying some stuff that doesnt involve me wasting fuel for the time being...

I'm not sure I trust you with one of those...I've used them, and dang, they can do anything lol...

The only thing thats gonna rust is the crank and bearings... Aluminum dosent corrode from a lil salt bath...

Why dont ya put it back together and run gasoline through it... Do somthing fun.Like let it rev at WOT till it dies... Soaking it in water is lame

Please... I'm a pro. LoL I do all of the repairs to stuff at school that requires brazing. I love when a stool comes in that all of the welds have broken on except my braze. I also brazed my own mountain bike frame that I can still ride. :-) And cutting torches are just easy...

Rocco, will that work with gas and a little 2 cycle oil or just screw the oil?

i wouldnt drive it through, but i could get like funnel and cup of water with it running and see what happens, get the temp up around 350...

I have seen motors hit 425* at the track so I doubt 350 would do a thing...

ok, then just lean everything out as far as possible before it dies...

hey dude lean her out turn ur truck onto its lid and then pin it to WOT until ur a great big "PING!" then u will have succesfully killed that motor lol
