hobby shop phone numbers -

Does anyone else have all the local hobby shop phone numbers saved in their cell phonebook or am I the only one? lol
I found it to be very handy when I'm out and about and need to see if a LHS has something in stock so I can stop by and pick it up. something to ponder anyway.....

I have LH and Hobbytown (Aurora) in my phone. Because they're far, I call before heading out to make sure parts are in stock.

I also had LH the track number inmy phone, but I have deleted it until they get a new number then it will be readded... You just never know and since my phone holds 500 numbers and I only have 2 friends, I have alot of room for hobby shop numbers.

i got liesure, hobbytown in aruora and tower. don't have al's but i do have rich's number so i can call him and see what they have. j/k

Too bad about stantons, I used to buy my rockets there. Hey Max I saw you out at DeVry the other weekend when you sent me the PM, I had to run errands and my truck is busted and I'm waiting on parts to arrive. But I took a drive by and saw you out there, looked like you where trying to get your truck started.

I did mention this on another thread but would it not be a good idea to make a sticky post of all the LHS around with contact and locations?
At the same time make it a poll on who favors which one more? In the right place of course. Another thought----Can some of these places sponsor this board and give out a member card for discounts? Make it a yearly membership of like $10-$15 and have meetings kinda thing. I am sure you want to see this place really take off for the locals here and have it grow right?
