There's a problem developing here as I see it, and I'm sure many others who watch, and are now afraid to post on this forum, do as well.

I'm noticing that it's no longer safe to post here without being pounced on by the forum bullies. I've been a victim and, when attacked, I've been a viscious counter attacker. This is not acceptable to me and I'm embarrassed. I do not have a thin skin but much of what I see is viscious for the sake of being viscious. This is not acceptable to me and many of you should be embarrassed.

If one must concern themselves about reprisal for expressing an opinion, sharing technical advise or asking a question then freedom has been lost. And to those who would be so quick to make light of these comments I add, you might be next.

Bruce, I think this started when you started your comments about EB Mods. I'll agree that I did my share of bashing TNT mods also. Do I think whats been going on in threads lately is acceptable ? The answer is no.
Some of the comments are down right uncalled for. Having an opinion about one certain brand of product is good and good to share your experiences about it. But to call another guys product "crap" is totally uncool.

I also agree that with as many members on this board, that alot of them might read some of the comments and be "afraid" to post on here anymore. Especailly the ones that havent spent alot of time around us or met us in person.

But, I've heard that you have threatened to kick people asses is PM's. Now thats something that should have never been done. No matter what the post or comment directed towards you was. If you feel that thats the way to handle things, I completely see you as a different person.

It is infact embarassing that a bunch of guys that race toy cars get soo worked up over such little things.
Maybe after this thread is read a bunch of times, we can go back to a good place to share info, tips etc etc.


If you feel something I've posted here upsets you or in some way offensive, dont hesitate to give me a call and we can discuss this on the phone.

I think jokingly making statments (where the receiver knows it's a joke) is quite alright, and down right funny most of the time.

I think making comments about someone (where you both know it's a shaky relationship) is unacceptable.

I thought the loss of one member would have opened peoples eyes but it didn't phase anyone. More and more threads start out with a serious question then end up being 3 pages of useless crap and kicking eachother in the balls over something completely and totally unrelated to the original post. It is getting out of hand and I guarantee that there are people that don't and will probably never post here anymore that we don't know about.

six has a point guys. I've noticed lots of threads get hijacked with useless banter and while it used to be silly fun comments that made me laugh, the more recent stuff has not.

This point forward threads need to start getting locked when this stuff happens. I want the board to grow, but not like this. 1 member has already left. Lets not make it habit to run folks out of here.

It was great to not have to lock threads and ask that people stay on topic, but it looks as if the board is getting to big for that. Not everyone knows everyone anymore which make it easier to offend and turn people away.

Remember folks, this site is PG-13! Kids read the forums.

Moderators, no need to wait on me. If you see something that is offensive to others, and you have authority in that forum, take action. Send out warnings, lock threads, etc. Let's not ruin a good thing here.

so. how about those bears!! j/k. ive noticed alot of hate going around also. i think rich hit a good point. its one thing to coment on something you have experiance with , but to bash a co. just because you are sponcered by an opponent is bull. there are alot of new members on this forum and alot of them are just starting out. they need to know facts not oppinions. ive leaned the hard way on alot of things. but if my experiance helps someone out. then its all good

I also agree with six and some of the other stuff. But we also must remember this is toys we are talking about, so none of this should be taken over the top. Most of it is in good fun I would hope, if there is a hidden message or an underlying issue thats a different story. Also remember text has no expressions, so in some cases a written sentence maybe taken completely different then a spoken one.

At this time if I have offended or po'd someone inadvertantly (sp?) I apologize...

The TNT and EB mods thing... how about an an engine trade. Someone with a TNT mod engine trade for a practice session with a guy running the same engine but modded by EB. just to for once get some real productive feedback and hands on comparison.

... Or mabey not because RB Mods is the king of engine modders.. lol! j/k. I've never had any experience having engines modded by anyone.

I had a nice brief talk with Bruce on the phone. IMO I think its all good. (hopefully) =P

really ive only seen this in threads like that are This vs. That (savage vs. revo, or EB vs. TNT) which in my years of being on boards have always been bad, what people need to do is relize is that every one has diffrent opinions, and in threads like that, it just ends up being a battle of personal prefferancs, with one or more people getting angry and leaving or not posting as much...

ive probly said some stuff people took the wrong way and to those people i apologize. The people who know me on this board know most of the time im just joking around and that i really dont mean what I say. As far as sotach is concerned I regret nothing that ive said to you. I dont mean to start anything with you know but to merely explain my actions to everyone here and you.

You started off as a cool guy who just talked smack about racing and thats cool. Since you went to dallas you've become a completly different person. You act like your stuff is the $hit and have put down my truck and the upgrades i choose to run on more then 1 occasion. No big deal i can live with that. Then you start putting me down because of were i live. Fine now im just tired of you and just dont really pay attention to what you say. Then you go and put down all these products having no known experience with them that i like and keep posting up to have people buy your stuff. Now im pretty much done with you. Then you go threatening to kick my ass and you dont care about going to jail and thats were i draw the line. You can only take so much crap from somebody before you have to start talking bad about them just because your pissed off. You talk about people starting to act likes kids on a play ground then to me you showed me perfect examples of it. As far as im concerned now im done with you. You've never said anything about me joking around with you was bother you so for you to just explode like you did was uncalled for and unwanted. Im tired of how you treat me and talk about my equipment and put me down for were i live which i have no choice to go anywere else because of my age.
