Your workbench area - 11-06-2005, 07:15 PM

Thought it would be cool to see where you guys wrench on your stuff. I was booted out to the garage after we started remodeling the basement. So I thought i'd make the best of it and try to bring out as many luxuries as I could out with me. What you dont see in the pics is the stereo and half of the garage is drywalled and insulated. But this is what I managed to to make of it so far.

Better see some more pics of other workbenches other than mine !!!! =P

Since I got sick again and living with folks again, I have to share a workbench with my mom, she is into custom floral design (silk flower stuff), so my stuff is all mixed in with flowers and stuff, in my old apartment I had 3 bedroom and the third room was just for my r/c stuff and a weight machine. But you got to make do with what you got.

Snap on guys are great when you have them. The company treats them like crap though so it is rare to have a good one stick around. Great tools...

lets see if these pics work. if they do they'll be crappy they were takin with my phone. hpefully i can get rob over here to take some good pics. heres the description, there were a couple of cabinets and a counter that were left over from when we remodeled our kitchen so i took them and turned it into a workbench in the corner of my basement. the upper/middle cabinet is the only one with r/c junk in it(damn parents use the other ones) the rest of the counter is mine. has 2 floresent work lights that are soon to be changed. i need to figure out a way to hang my cars on the back wall.

Nice... you hung your entire workshop on the wall. :-) I'm J/K. There are some nice looking shops. Mine consists of the garage floor where I have easy access to too many tools.
