Me and a buddy made the official decission to camp out at best buy for xbox 360 on the 22nd! They're opening early (countryside store) at 8am, so we're getting there no later than 6am.

XBOX 360 will be the shiznit! A ghost recon game is one of the release games .

I'm getting the $400 one. I want the hard drive, backwards compatibility, and chrome .

The 400 one also comes with a remote I guess, limited number thing.

After looking around the xbox website, I have to say it looks pretty cool, but I still dont think I will be able to get myself to spend that kinda money when I play most of my games on my PC.

I just talked to a friend of mine who camped out for ps2 when it had come out. He said there was a line forming as early as 10pm the previous night! He had ended up staying overnight with the rest of them to ensure his ps2.

I'm not sure of the demand for this, so I might make a trip out there to check it out the night before, just incase.

No way I'm gonna spend the night waiting for some consule to come out. Bad enough wea re going to be there extra early to wait in line at a chance of getting one. Thats pushing it.

Isn't anyone taking pre-orders?

Game stop was taking pre-orders some time ago. Last time I was in there, they said that if I signed up for the pre-order, I would recieve mine when the third shipment came in. They had almost 140 people on the waiting list at that time.

I camped out at my local Target for the original Xbox. Got there at like 1am and there were already 10 people in front of me. Wasn't that bad, but it was also earlier in the year so it wasnt that cold at night. If you plan on camping out for this one, plan on bundling up.

I won't camp out if I don't have too, lol. But if I drive by at like 11 and see 50 people out there, I'm sleeping in the cold that night.

Damn thing will probably be sold out quick and hard to get until sometime after christmas. I don't have the time to hit the stores daily in hopes of finding a place that isn't sold out. It's day 1 for me, or spring time, lol.

I've already preordered Call of Duty 2 and I might preorder PGR3.. but I'm not sure there are soo many racing games. I won't be camping out to get a 360 though.. hehe.

I wish I could get my hands on a bunch of them. My father told me a semi truck dropped off 1000 360's a month ago at their office. I could not imagine the seisure I'd have if I could have seen that !

I went to Best Buy to check out some stuff and ran into their X-box 360 demo.
They had it set-up on a 42 inch plasma with surrond sound going and those gaming chairs set-up. Man the thing looks awesome. Call of Duty dem o was going. Cant wait to get mine going.
